While walking down Main Street in Chatham, you could smell the perfume of autumn; crushed, dried leafs mixed with the smell of fires burning sending their aroma out into the air. The days are sunny and bright, nights are crisp and cool, nearly cold. We’ve not had a hard frost so mums are still in full bloom.
The Wellfleet Oyster Festival is this weekend (http://www.wellfleetoysterfest.org/scheduleofevents.php) and there are lots of events. A short drive from Chatham, you can easily make your way to this annual celebration of the famous mollusk! Don’t forget the Truro Vineyards in N. Truro! Our guest have been going for the tastings and are really impressed with the wine offerings; http://trurovineyardsofcapecod.com/tastings.php. Pumpkin People are making their annual appearance in Kate Gould Park in Chatham October 19 thru the 31st.
If you think there is “nothing going on” you will be pleasantly surprised. After this weekend, we will have more availability and would look forward to seeing you at The Old Harbor Inn, in Chatham, MA What are you waiting for?
