Meet our new Assistant Manager

We are so happy to introduce to you all the newest addition to our management team, Rachel Sink!

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Rachel drove this winter across country leaving everything behind because of her passion for innkeeping, baking and the four season climate Cape Cod has to offer, making it her first experience on the East Coast. Shortly after she arrived we gave her a tour of the Inn, treated her as a guest giving her maps and plenty of things to do even in the off season.  For the short two months she has been with us, she is already in love with the Inn and the area.

“I was amazed by the beauty of the beaches, scenery and the quaint downtown Chatham! I cannot wait to experience my first proper Spring!”

Her career began as a Pastry Chef after completing her degree at the Culinary Institute in Arizona. Her exceptional experience in food service and hospitality adds to her cheery personality.  Rachel’s kindness, positivity and big smile are sure to make your day even more special. She is always happy to assist guests with arrangements, activities and perhaps share some baking tips. You will catch her baking yummy treats in the kitchen, planning the daily menu or afternoon tea – stop and say hello!

We are so very fortunate to have found Rachel and we cannot wait for you to meet her! She was kind enough to share with all of you one of her own favorite recipes. So here you go:

Gooey Chocolate Brownies

½ cup butter

9oz semi-sweet chocolate

¾ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

3 eggs

½ cup plus 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Grease a 9×9 pan.  Melt butter and chocolate together.  Mix in sugars.  Beat in the eggs.  Fold in the flour.  Pour batter into pan and bake 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Enjoy!

We hope to see you this Spring!
