Property Accessibility Statement
The Old Harbor Inn was built prior to January 26, 1992 with no major renovations. However, we take equal access very seriously and so we strive to accommodate guests with special needs. While making major modifications are not readily achievable or financially feasible, we have made some modifications to make the inn more accessible.
Accessibility Features
- Close access to the room, one step or half step to room level (Stage Harbor, Oyster Pond, and Pleasant Bay, guest rooms) with parking directly in front. There is no passenger pick-up/drop-off and the parking surface is crushed stone.
- There is a brick walkway to the Stage Harbor Guest Room.
- We have a wide front door and a wide, uncluttered hallway. The other two entrances have stairs.
- The public toilet is handicap-height and has a grab bar. The vanity with the sink is standard height.
- The front door, central lobby, living room, and breakfast room are wide and there are directional signs for fire exits.
- We have handicap tables in the dining area.
- Pleasant Bay is an accessible-friendly guest room with a step-in shower and handicap toilet. Additional suction-cup grab bars can be installed upon request.
